Application
Gilsonite solvent-borne coatings are the most dependable in areas with variable temperatures and humidity, and where substrates are oily or dirty.
Properties
Where VOC is limited, but excellent weatherability characteristics of Gilsonite-based coatings are required, the proper use of chlorinated solvents helps meet VOC regulations without having to accept the limitations of water-borne paints. Gilsonite Low VOC coatings have VOC's of less than 250 grams/liter.
